It's an Indian bollywood family comedy film written and directed by Rohit Shetty. It is the third installment of "Golmaal" series. It stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Kareena Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Tabu in lead roles. The film is shot in Dubai.[1] The movie sequel to Golmaal And Golmaal Returns released on 27 October 2017 worldwide with mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success upon release. The film received the "Super Hit" award from the film fare. The story revolves around what happens when 4 couples decide to spend a night, which is full of fun and craziness, at one place where they are staying. Ajay (Ajay Devgn) goes on a trip along with his wife Madhuri (Kareena Kapoor), his father Madan Mohan Malhotra (Paresh Rawal) and her mother Vidya Sinha (Sarika). Ajay's younger brother Prem (Tusshar Kapoor) gets married to Anjali (Amrita Rao), who has an affair with her parent's driver Mahesh. Ajay and Madhuri get separated from their car and get lost in a desert. Ajay and Madhuri get married the next day and go back home, but find out that Prem and Anjali have gone missing. The rest of the story involves another 4 couples who go to stay at their house for one night.The film was originally supposed to release on 11 August 2013. However, it was pushed to 4 September 2013 which meant that it had to be delayed by six months (which was originally intended for its release in October 2012). The film released on 4 September 2013 across 1,600 screens worldwide. The film released to an occupancy of 60-70% all over India. It received mixed reviews from critics and is rated below 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. Taran Adarsh gave the movie 4/5 stars stating that it is a must watch. Namrata Joshi also gave it 4/5 stars stating that it's the best fun ever with your family. Rajeev Masand gave it 2.5/5 stars, calling it 'Dull & Dated'. The movie collected approx Rs. 30 crore on the opening weekend and was declared as a 'Super Hit' by Box Office India. The soundtrack for "Golmaal 3" was released on 18 August 2013, by T-Series.
